Hi, Iā€™m Amina. Welcome to my portfolio!

I believe that fashion should celebrate both our cultural interdependence and our abilities to be custodians of our own distinct cultural practices. In finding the parallels between the savoir-faire of European Maisons and the artisanal heritage of Middle Eastern craftspeople, I find the inspiration for cultivating my own design language. It is this celebration of time-honored craftsmanship and innovative design perspectives that I try to honor through my fashion marketing work. As I advance in my Fashion Management courses at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), I continue to enhance my understanding of how historical artisanal techniques can be fully integrated into business models, marketing communications and ESG initiatives.

I also explore the role of digital tools and detailed trend research in the optimization of merchandise assortments and am passionate about devising strategies tailored to capture the loyalty and lifetime value of younger demographics such as Gen Z.
