Carmin Visual Brand Identity

Designing with the persona of a contemporary romantic in mind, a visual brand identity system was developed for ‘Carmin’, a ready-to-wear label concept. Interwoven throughout elements of a visual identity system and array of marketing mockups, were elements of the brand’s Mediterranean DNA and core pillars of ‘forward-looking nostalgia’ and ‘artful preservation.’

“She finds a natural habitat in Rome’s narrowest piazzas, in the marble-blaneketed courtyards of Damascus and between the fortresses of Medieval Cairo. She finds delight in simple realizations... In realizing that the embroidered motifs on her coat resemble the ornate ferforgé she walks by, or that the sheen of her silk blouse resembles a reflection that flickers across the Nile. Nostalgia vibrates between the walls of her carmine heart, yet she is always forward-looking, excitement-seeking. She is the carmin woman.”
